Our commitment
HomeVent Pros is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we've built in
- An accessibility toolbar (the round blue button at the bottom-left of every page) with larger text, high contrast, underlined links, reduced motion, and a readable-font option.
- Full keyboard navigation, a "skip to content" link, and visible focus indicators.
- Semantic headings and landmarks, labels on all form fields, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Support for your system's reduced motion preference — animations are disabled automatically.
- Color contrast designed to meet WCAG AA on text and controls.
Known limitations
The interactive service-area map is provided by a third-party library and may be difficult to operate with a screen reader. All of the information shown on the map — the towns we serve — is also available as plain text right beside it.
